The Old Schoolhouse B & B near Hawick in the Scottish Borders offers flexible, friendly accommodation in a rural setting for couples, individuals, families and professionals. We have 3 rooms in total - 2 Doubles (one of these offers a family facility of a child bed) also a Single room (which can be converted into a Twin). All rooms have En-Suite with Power Shower also Hostess Tray tea/coffee ect and Digital T,.V.

We are fortunate to have out own natural filtered spring fed private water supply. (we also re filter the supply at the Schoolhouse. (lab tested regularly.)

The building was erected as a school and schoolhouse for the master and family in 1880 - later serving the local community until 1961 then converted to a private house with 3/4 acre of ground.

We arrived here in 2003 and after an extensive refurbishment and upgrade we can now offer a substantial 3 room bed and breakfast in a fantastic rural setting - still within easy reach of main routes for onward journeys or to stay for a while to use the various sports and activities local to us.
